Welcome to my blog!
Allow me to introduce myself:
My name is Sunny Finden, and I’m just a young entrepreneur with dreams of saving the world. My life’s passion is to do good while doing well, the mantra of social entrepreneurs far and wide. The first exposure I had to the concept of socially responsible enterprise came during my undergraduate studies at the Colorado College in the field of International Political Economics. One of my classes took on the book, The White Man’s Burden: Why the West’s Efforts to Aid the Rest Have Done So Much Ill and So Little Good, by William Easterly. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, the idea of applying market principles to achieve social change resonated with me deeply. Since that moment I have vowed to be a Searcher, looking for opportunities to do good through the use of market mechanisms. I invite you to follow me as I find my way down this path.
Currently, I am the owner and operator of The Superwoman Service, an efficiency consulting and organization service based in Charleston, SC. An avid hockey player, yogi, climber, skier, outdoorswoman, shopper, anything-home-improvement or organization-er, health nut, and social entrepreneurship addict, this blog catalogues the useful, important, or just plain interesting things that I come across in my day to day life.
In addition to running my young enterprise, I enjoy spending time with my fiance, Justin, and my 2 year old golden retriever, Cooper. A native of Minnesota, I maintain a residence in Minneapolis as well as one in Charleston.
